Jungo is a mortgage CRM built on the Salesforce platform, primarily serving the US mortgage market. That foundation brings real advantages: Salesforce is mature, enormously configurable, and has an ecosystem around it that few products can match. If your team already lives in Salesforce, or you have the appetite to configure a platform to your exact process, that's a legitimate reason to look at Jungo.
BrokerDam takes the opposite approach. It isn't a platform you shape into a mortgage product — it's a mortgage product for the Canadian process, opinionated about how a Canadian file actually gets done.
Why the market a product was built for matters
Canadian mortgage work isn't American mortgage work with different spelling. The qualification math is different: GDS and TDS ratios, and the OSFI B-20 stress test that decides whether a file works at all. BrokerDam's AI Underwriter reads the application package and runs those calculations natively, because they're the calculations the deal turns on.
Closing costs are provincial. British Columbia's Property Transfer Tax, Ontario's Land Transfer Tax and Toronto's municipal layer, Alberta's registration-fee model — each needs its own math, and BrokerDam ships calculators that handle them and export as branded client-ready PDFs.
Messaging is governed by CASL, not CAN-SPAM. BrokerDam's native two-way SMS and email campaigns include STOP handling and suppression, so the compliance mechanics are part of the tool rather than something you configure on top of it.
Deals come from Velocity. BrokerDam syncs deals, borrowers and co-borrowers directly from Velocity via its API, with file import for older history — no middleware layer to maintain between your LOS and your CRM.
And the data stays here: customer data is hosted in Canada (ca-central-1), which is a question Canadian brokerages get asked and need a straight answer to.
Configuration effort is a real cost
A platform-based product can usually be configured to do most things. The question is who does that configuration, how long it takes, and what happens when the rules change — a stress-test rate move or a provincial tax change becomes a project rather than an update. When the product is built for your market, that maintenance simply isn't yours.

Which one should you pick?
If Salesforce is already your company's backbone and you have the resources to configure it, Jungo is a reasonable route. If you're a Canadian broker or brokerage who wants B-20 math, provincial closing costs, CASL-aware messaging and Velocity sync working on day one, that's the case for BrokerDam.
